Adobe Developer: “Go Screw Yourself Apple”

Figured I'd chime in on the story of the day, which TechCrunch headlined: Adobe: “Go Screw Yourself Apple”. Other than being a horribly misleading headline, the story has gotten way more attention than it deserves.

Why is it so hard for us to grasp that Flash is on it's way out?

Flash had it's moments and found a niche with video, but technologies get replaced everyday, and Apple has no need for Flash.

The reverse isn't true.

So, of course, Adobe's developers are sweating this one out. They may be looking at unemployment as Adobe's viable products continue to dwindle.

I get it. And I feel for Adobe employees.

My advice? Start learning CSS3, HTML5 and Javascript. You're smart people. You'll land on your feet.
